FireSafe 60 1 hour Automatic Fire Curtains

Unobtrusive, lightweight and easy to install.. The control panel can be linked to a fire alarm system to automatically deploy and stop the spread of fire and smoke. Our Automatic Fire Curtains have been tested and are certified to BS:476 Part 22 standard.

They provide 60 minutes of continuous fire containment with a standard drop down system and a split drop delay. This means the curtain can drop in stages, providing a temporary means of escape and gradual smoke containment.

Each curtain is suspended on a single roller up to 6 metres wide. Larger areas can be protected by overlapping multiple rollers.

FireSafe 240 4 hour Automatic Fire Curtains

Where more protection is required, such as over lift doors, 4 Hour Automatic Fire Curtains provide a longer period of fire resistance. 4 Hour Automatic Fire Curtains are certified to BSEN 1634 - 1:2000. They are commonly used in situations where a longer period of protection is required, such as lift shafts.

This is a standard drop down curtain with a split drop delay so that it can drop in stages, providing a temporary means of escape and gradual smoke containment.

Overlapping curtains are used to protect larger areas - a single curtain can be a maximum of 6 metres long.

SmokeSafe Automatic Fire Curtains

Using the same fabric as 1 Hour Automatic Fire Curtains, Smoke Curtains prevent the spread of the lethal fumes generated by a fire and can be static or automatically controlled. Smoke Curtains create a barrier against the spread of smoke and can be either static or automatically deployed when a fire is detected.

They are usually installed in commercial properties, such as shopping centres and airports, and are positioned to push smoke to a ventilation system.

The smoke curtains are installed without side guides as they are designed to allow smoke to seep around the edges.

Large openings can be protected by overlapping a series of curtains. A steel rod at the bottom of the curtains keeps them in place.

SmokeSafe Automatic Fire Curtains

Unique support-free installations are now possible with the innovative Corner Unit Curtain. It deploys around corners without the need for a guide rail and provides 85 minutes of smoke and fire containment. In the past, fire curtains have been limited to straight runs between side guides mounted on walls, columns and posts.

The innovative Smoke and Fire Curtains Corner Unit makes it possible to route curtains around complex shapes, such as stairwells, and keep spaces open.

After 2 years in development, the technology is now being used in commercial and private properties.

Corner Unit Curtains are used in conjunction with 1 Hour Automatic Fire Curtains, 4 Hour Automatic Curtains and 1 Hour Fixed Fire Curtains and are fully certificated to BSEN 1634 - 1:2000 and have a fire integrity of 85 minutes.

FireSafe Plus PAS 121 Fire Curtains

Fully compliant PAS 121:2007 curtains providing 150 minutes of fire integrity and insulation - more than twice as long as our competitors. These retractable fire curtains meet the high standards of the PAS 121 specification and so can used as an alternative to partitions and doors. They are smoke and fire resistant to British Standards and provide 150 minutes of fire integrity and insulation.

This creates a low temperature zone on the safe side of the curtain, allowing people far more time to escape a fire in safety.

Features of our PAS 121 curtains include:

• Built-in electronic circuitary to constantly scan the whole system and the state of the batteries. A buzzer sounds when the batteries are low or power is switched off.
• A gravity fail safe panel that deploys the curtains even if there is no power. A buzzer will sound to tell you that there is no mains power to the system.
• A sensor that detects the presence of an object in the descent path of the barrier and provides an audible signal.
• Audio-visual warnings when the curtain is about to descend.
• Override switches on both sides of the curtain that retract the curtain, pauses for 10 seconds so that occupants can escape and then lowers it again. So simple, even a small child can operate it.
